𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐥é𝐠𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐌ã𝐞
From 7 to 14 April, 29 students from different educational levels at Colégio Casa Mãe took part in a study trip to the United States of America, exploring New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC. The journey was marked by English language immersion, cultural diversity, and the country’s historical and artistic richness. In New York, the group visited the United Nations, the Empire State Building, One Summit Vanderbilt, the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, the MoMA and Broadway, strengthening their contact with diplomacy, art and global culture. In Philadelphia, students explored the Liberty Bell and the Rocky Statue, symbols of American independence and cultural identity. In Washington DC, they walked through the National Mall, visited the Capitol, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, and the historic neighbourhood of Georgetown. The group also explored the National Air and Space Museum, one of the most visited museums in the world, enriching their understanding of aviation, space exploration and scientific innovation.
This experience promoted autonomy, responsibility and global awareness, reflecting Colégio Casa Mãe’s commitment to a holistic and borderless education.

De 7 a 14 de abril, 29 alunos de diferentes níveis de ensino do Colégio Casa Mãe participaram numa visita de estudo aos Estados Unidos da América, explorando Nova Iorque, Filadélfia e Washington DC. A viagem destacou‑se pela exploração da língua inglesa, pela diversidade cultural e pela riqueza histórica e artística do país.
Em Nova Iorque, o grupo visitou as Nações Unidas, o Empire State Building, o One Summit Vanderbilt, a Estátua da Liberdade, Times Square, Wall Street, o Memorial do 11 de setembro e o MoMA e a Broadway, aprofundando contacto com diplomacia, arte e cultura global. Em Filadélfia, os alunos conheceram o Liberty Bell e a Rocky Statue, símbolos da independência e da identidade cultural americana. Em Washington DC, percorreram o National Mall, visitaram o Capitólio, a Casa Branca, os memoriais Lincoln e Jefferson, e o bairro histórico de Georgetown.
