𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 — 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭
As part of the Values Project, our Secondary School students have started a partnership between Colégio Casa Mãe and the Pediatric Unit of São João Hospital.
Over the coming weeks, in rotating shifts, they will have the opportunity to experience the hospital environment up close, engaging in an authentic, enriching, and deeply human experience, under the guidance of the department’s leadership.
More than just an activity, this is a true exercise in empathy, responsibility, and citizenship, contributing to the holistic development of our students — not only as learners, but above all as individuals.
Because education is also about learning to care.

No âmbito do Projeto Valores, os alunos do Ensino Secundário iniciaram a parceria entre o Colégio Casa Mãe e a Ala Pediátrica do Hospital de São João.
Ao longo das próximas semanas, em regime de turnos rotativos, terão a oportunidade de contactar de perto com a realidade hospitalar, vivendo uma experiência autêntica, enriquecedora e profundamente humana, sob a orientação da Direção de Serviço.
Mais do que uma atividade, este é um verdadeiro exercício de empatia, responsabilidade e cidadania, contribuindo para a formação integral dos nossos alunos — enquanto estudantes e, sobretudo, enquanto pessoas.
Porque educar é também ensinar a cuidar.
